Resumo Introdução: O uso de simulação realística em emergências pediátricas é particularmente valioso, pois permite o treinamento de habilidades técnicas, atitudinais e cognitivas, ajudando a garantir a segurança do paciente. Objetivo: Este estudo tem como objetivo descrever a percepção do aluno sobre o uso da Simulação Realista de Alta Fidelidade nos módulos de emergência pediátrica durante o internato de medicina. Métodos: Estudo observacional, descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Um questionário semiestruturado foi aplicado aos estudantes do sexto ano de medicina ao final dos módulos de internato pediátrico, com oito semanas de duração, de agosto a dezembro de 2020. Todos participaram de dois tipos de atividades sobre 14 temas: simulação de alta fidelidade (SRAF) e discussão estruturada de casos clínicos (DCC). Resultados: Dos 33 participantes, 29 responderam ao questionário. A média de idade foi de 24 ± 1,8 anos, sendo 58,6% do sexo feminino. Todos concordaram que a experiência com SRAF contribuiu para um desempenho mais seguro em emergências pediátricas, considerado ótimo por 76% e bom para os demais. A maioria achava que a associação de SRAF e DCC era o método ideal (96%). A análise de conteúdo das respostas sobre a SRAF destacou unidades temáticas em cinco categorias: aprendizagem significativa, contribuição para a formação profissional, habilidades, atitude/comportamento e qualidade da atividade. Conclusões: A reação dos estudantes ao uso da SRAF em emergências pediátricas foi muito positiva, e sua associação com a DCC foi considerada o método de ensino ideal. Conhecer as reações dos alunos ajuda os professores a planejarem suas atividades para melhorar o método de ensino-aprendizagem.


Abstract Introduction: The use of realistic simulation in pediatric emergencies is particularly valuable, as it allows the training of technical, attitudinal, and cognitive skills, helping to ensure patient safety. Objective: This study aims to describe the student's perception of using the High-Fidelity Realistic Simulation in the pediatric emergency modules during the internship. Methods: Observational, descriptive study with a quantitative and qualitative approach. A semi-structured questionnaire was applied to sixth-year medical students at the end of the pediatric internship modules, which lasted eight weeks, from August to December 2020. All of them participated in two types of activities on 14 topics: high-fidelity simulation (HFS) and structured discussion of clinical cases (SDCC). Results: Of the 33 participants, 29 answered the questionnaire. The mean age was 24 ± 1.8 years, and 58.6% were female. All agreed that the experience with HFS contributed to safer performance in pediatric emergencies, considered optimal by 76% and good for the remainder. Most thought the association of HFS and SDCC was the ideal method (96%). The content analysis of the responses on HFS highlighted thematic units in five categories: significant learning, contribution to professional training, skills, attitude/behavior, and quality of the activity. Conclusions: Students' reaction to using HFS in pediatric emergencies was very positive, and its association with SDCC was considered the ideal teaching method. Knowing the students' reactions helps teachers plan their activities to improve the teaching-learning method.

Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é identificar a satisfação dos usuários em relação às cadeiras de rodas e à prestação de serviços públicos e privados de saúde da Região Metropolitana da Baixada Santista. Estudo transversal com abordagem quantitativa. Os participantes responderam a um questionário sociodemográfico e à versão brasileira do Quebec Assistive Technology User Satisfaction Assessment. Os dados foram analisados utilizando a estatística descritiva e comparativa por meio do teste t de Student. Os tamanhos de efeito d de Cohen foram calculados. Os participantes (n = 42) estavam "mais ou menos satisfeitos" com as cadeiras de rodas e "pouco satisfeitos" com a prestação de serviços. Os usuários de cadeiras de rodas monobloco apresentaram satisfação significativamente maior com suas cadeiras em comparação com usuários de cadeiras de rodas acima de 90kg (p = 0,010, d = 1,04). Os usuários de serviços privados apresentaram satisfação significativamente maior com a prestação de serviço em comparação aos usuários de serviços públicos (p = 0,021, d = 0,75). Os usuários de cadeiras de rodas da Região Metropolitana da Baixada Santista estão mais satisfeitos com as cadeiras de rodas monobloco e menos satisfeitos com os serviços públicos.


Abstract This article seeks to identify user satisfaction in relation to wheelchairs and the provision of public and private health services in the Baixada Santista Metropolitan Region. It involved a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. Participants answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Brazilian version of the Quebec Assistive Technology User Satisfaction Assessment. Data were analyzed using descriptive and comparative statistics by means of Student's t test. Cohen's d effect sizes were also calculated. Participants (n = 42) were "more or less satisfied" with the wheelchairs and "quite satisfied" with the services provided. Rigid frame wheelchair users were significantly more satisfied with their wheelchairs compared to users of wheelchairs weighing over 198 lbs. (p = 0.010, d = 1.04). Users of private services showed significantly greater satisfaction with the provision of the service compared to public services users (p = 0.021, d = 0.75). Wheelchair users in the Baixada Santista Metropolitan Region are more satisfied with the rigid frame wheelchair and less satisfied with public services.

SUMMARY INTRODUCTION: In addition to reproductive purposes, human sexuality and sexual health are matters of great importance in the medical office. Despite this, there is still a deficiency in the training of Brazilian medical students regarding sexual medicine and gender issues. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to analyze the perception of fifth- and sixth-year students in relation to the teaching of sexual medicine and gender issues in medical courses. METHODS: This is a descriptive and cross-sectional study with students from the last 2 years of medical schools in the State of Santa Catarina (internship classes), through the application of a self-administered, semi-structured online questionnaire. RESULTS: A total of 164 students answered the questionnaire, with 83.5% (137/164) saying they had taken classes on sexual medicine and 47% (77/164) saying they had taken classes on gender issues. The participants judged the teaching inadequate in most of the topics addressed, and there was no significant difference between students from public and private schools. Notably, 79.9% (131/164) of the students considered the teaching of sexual medicine insufficient or inadequate, while 87.8% (144/164) considered the teaching of gender issues insufficient or inadequate. CONCLUSION: The vast majority of students consider the teaching of sexual medicine and gender issues insufficient and inadequate.

ABSTRACT

In Benin, nurses complain of insufficient job satisfaction. This study is the third part of a mixed research project. The aim of this article was to develop an intervention to improve nurses' job satisfaction. Participatory action research with intervention mapping was carried out in 2021. Purposive sampling was used. Interviews and panel discussions were held with 40 participants, nurses and administrative staff from the Djidja and Covè area hospitals. A number of internal factors contributed to the nurses' job satisfaction. However, external factors also militated in favor of insufficient job satisfaction among nurses. This confirms the results of quantitative evaluation of nurses' job satisfaction, in line with a number of authors. The panelists agreed ona major workshop and satisfaction improvement program. They agreed on quantified objectives, a logic model, terms of reference, a logical framework and an evaluation plan. Participants also agreed on the development of nursing work management tools. The determinants of nurses' job satisfaction are examined in depth, some of which are confirmed, also confirming a lack of job satisfaction. The workshop will focus on three interventions selected from the literature, merged and adapted by the participants. None of these interventions has been tested in sub-Saharan Africa. Intervention implementation and evaluation will be the subject of future research. ABSTRACT

Objective: to investigate the relationship between team climate and job satisfaction among professionals working in mobile pre-hospital care. Method: this is a quantitative, correlational study carried out in a mobile pre-hospital care service in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region. The participants were 95 professionals, allocated to 40 teams, who answered three questionnaires: sociodemographic/labor data, Team Climate Scale and S20/23 Job Satisfaction Scale. Descriptive statistics and multilevel linear models were used for the analysis, including moderation effects. The Backward method was used to ascertain the order of significance. Results: in the models, the relationships between satisfaction with hierarchical relationships and the factor "support for new ideas" moderated for men and "task orientation" for women were significant. For satisfaction with the physical environment, "working hours" and "participation in the team" were significant and, for intrinsic satisfaction, the regime, working hours and the factors "team objectives", "participation in the team" and "support for new ideas" remained significant, as did the moderation effect between length of service, "participation in the team" and "support for new ideas". Conclusion: team climate is influenced by job satisfaction in a heterogeneous way and the moderating effect of this relationship is associated with gender and length of service.


Objetivo: examinar la relación entre el clima en equipo y la satisfacción laboral de los profesionales que trabajan en servicios de atención prehospitalaria móvil. Método: estudio cuantitativo y correlacional realizado en un servicio de atención prehospitalaria móvil en la Región Metropolitana de São Paulo. Participaron 95 profesionales, distribuidos en 40 equipos, que respondieron a tres cuestionarios: datos sociodemográficos/laborales, Escalas de Clima en Equipo y de Satisfacción Laboral S20/23. Para el análisis, se utilizaron estadísticas descriptivas y modelos lineales multiniveles, incluyendo efectos de moderación. Se empleó el método Backward para determinar el orden de significancia. Resultados: en los modelos, fueron significativas las relaciones entre la satisfacción con las relaciones jerárquicas y el factor "apoyo para nuevas ideas" moderado por el género masculino y "orientación hacia las tareas" en mujeres. Para la satisfacción con el ambiente físico, fueron significativos "jornada laboral" y "participación en el equipo", y para la satisfacción intrínseca, se mantuvieron significativos el régimen, la jornada y los factores "objetivos del equipo", "participación en el equipo" y "apoyo para ideas nuevas", y el efecto de moderación entre el tiempo de actuación, "participación en el equipo" y "apoyo para ideas nuevas". Conclusión: el clima en equipo es influenciado por la satisfacción laboral de manera heterogénea y el efecto moderador de esta relación se asocia con el género y el tiempo de actuación en el servicio.

Conclusão: clima em equipe é influenciado pela satisfação no trabalho de modo heterogêneo e o efeito moderador dessa relação associa-se ao gênero e ao tempo de atuação no serviço.

ABSTRACT Objective: To assess the relationship between patients' and dentists' perceptions of shade selection and its impact on satisfaction with the prosthesis. Material and Methods: A single group pre-post study was conducted at the Prosthodontics department of a teaching hospital in India. One hundred ten participants were selected through a systematic random sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Patients' attitudes regarding the aesthetics of their maxillary anterior teeth were recorded using a validated questionnaire. Shades for the intended prosthetic crown selected by the dentist and chosen by the patient were recorded separately, and patient satisfaction with the appearance of the final prosthesis was recorded. We used descriptive statistics followed by Pearson's Chi-square test and a binomial logistic regression model for inferential statistics. Results: 109 participant's data were available for final analysis. Patients choose lighter shades than the dentist's selection, which is statistically significant (p=0.000). 73.4% were satisfied with the final prosthesis, and the binomial logistic regression model identified using patient-selected shade for the final prosthesis was significantly associated with patients' satisfaction with the final prosthesis (OR=3.3, p=0.001). Conclusion: The patient's preference should be considered with the dentist's option when selecting a shade to create good esthetics.

ABSTRACT

Los implantes dentales se han convertido en un componente rutinario de la práctica dental diaria. A la vez, pueden producir molestias, destrucción desenfrenada de la salud bucal o reemplazo quirúrgico y costoso de un implante fallido. La detección temprana de la pérdida ósea marginal es vital para la planificación del tratamiento y el pronóstico de los implantes. Estos están diseñados para adaptarse mejor a los diversos tipos de hueso y fallan debido a muchas razones. Entender los desafíos y las expectativas del paciente a través de la honestidad, es una parte importante del tratamiento, cuyo éxito no solo dependerá de los integrantes del equipo implantológico o de técnica, sino también del cuidado del paciente al realizar su higiene diaria. Por esa razón, se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases de datos MEDLINE y PubMed sobre molestias periimplantar, consultándose 30 referencias de los últimos cinco años.


Dental implants have become a routine component of daily dental practice. At the same time, they can cause discomfort, rampant destruction of oral health, or expensive surgical replacement of a failed implant. Early detection of marginal bone loss is vital for treatment planning and implant prognosis. These are designed to best fit various bone types and fail due to many reasons. Understanding the patient's challenges and expectations through honesty is an important part of the treatment, whose success will not only depend on the members of the implantology or technical team, but also on the patient's care when performing their daily hygiene. For this reason, a bibliographic search was carried out in the MEDLINE and PubMed databases on peri-implant discomfort, consulting 30 bibliographical references from the last 5 years.

Objective@#To investigate the clinical effect of lithium disilicate glass ceramic cantilever resin-bonded fixed partial dentures (CRBFPDs) on single anterior tooth loss to provide a reference for the selection of restoration methods for single anterior tooth loss.@*Methods@#This study was reviewed and approved by the Ethics Committee, and informed consent was obtained from the patients. Forty-two patients with less than two anterior teeth with monomaxillary loss were included in this study. After 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years, the aesthetic and functional effects of the restorations and the periodontal health status were evaluated, and the visual analog scale (VAS) was used to assess patient satisfaction.@*Results@#During the observation period, the connector fractured in one case within 3 months. One case had debonded within 2 years. The aesthetic restoration effect of all lithium disilicate glass ceramic CRBFPDs was categorized as Class A. The periodontal health was good, there was no clinical absorption in the soft and hard tissues of the abutment or subbridge, periodontal status according to the evaluation indices was classified as class A, and the total satisfaction rate of the patient was 100%.@*Conclusion@#For single anterior tooth loss patients, lithium disilicate glass ceramic cantilever resin-bonded fixed partial denture can achieve the restoration effect of less invasion, better adhesion, aesthetics, comfort and good biocompatibility. With high patient satisfaction, it can be considered an ideal restoration method for replacing a single anterior tooth.

ABSTRACT

A Residência Multiprofissional é uma importante estratégia de Educação Permanente (EPS) no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), sendo a primeira oportunidade para muitos recém-graduados de exercer sua profissão e adquirir experiência. O objetivo do presente estudo foi conhecer o perfil de profissionais egressos de um programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Cardiopneumologia no Ceará e sua inserção no mercado de trabalho. No estudo, transversal e quantitativo, coletaram-se dados socioeconômicos, sociodemográficos e sobre histórico no mercado de trabalho, entre junho e outubro de 2022, via formulário eletrônico enviado aos egressos. A grande maioria estava empregada, atuando no SUS como terceirizados, vinculados como celetistas ou cooperados, em áreas de atuação diversas, destacando o potencial de contribuição na saúde, na educação e na gestão pública. Estudos com profissionais egressos de outros programas hospitalares são necessários para melhor elucidar as potencialidades, contribuições e lacunas do processo formativo à inserção dos profissionais no mercado de trabalho.


Multiprofessional Residency is an important strategy for Continuing Education (PDE) in the Unified Health System (SUS), being the first opportunity for many recent graduates to exercise their profession and acquire experience. The aim of this study was to know the profile of professionals graduating from a Multiprofessional Residency in Cardiopneumology program in Ceará and their insertion in the labor market. In this cross-sectional and quantitative study, socioeconomic, sociodemographic and labor market history data were collected between June and October 2022, via an electronic form sent to the graduates. The vast majority were employed, working in the SUS as outsourced, contracted, or cooperative workers, in diverse areas, highlighting the potential to contribute to health, education, and public management. Studies with professionals graduating from other hospital programs are necessary to better elucidate the potentialities, contributions, and gaps of the formative process to the insertion of the professionals in the labor market.


La Residencia Multiprofesional es una importante estrategia de Educación Continuada (PDE) en el Sistema Único de Salud (SUS), siendo la primera oportunidad para muchos recién graduados de ejercer su profesión y adquirir experiencia. El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer el perfil de los profesionales egresados de un programa de Residencia Multiprofesional en Cardoneumología en Ceará y su inserción en el mercado de trabajo. En este estudio transversal y cuantitativo, se recogieron datos socioeconómicos, sociodemográficos y de historia laboral entre junio y octubre de 2022, a través de un formulario electrónico enviado a los graduados. La gran mayoría estaba empleada, trabajando en el SUS como tercerizados, contratados o cooperativistas, en diversas áreas, destacando el potencial de contribución a la salud, educación y gestión pública. Estudios con profesionales egresados de otros programas hospitalarios son necesarios para dilucidar mejor las potencialidades, contribuciones y lagunas del proceso formativo para la inserción de los profesionales en el mercado de trabajo.

ABSTRACT

Introducción. Al decretar el gobierno la cuarentena obligatoria durante la pandemia COVID-19 se inició una nueva forma de ejercer la labor pedagógica de manera sincrónica o asincrónica. Objetivos. Conocer a través de los niveles de insatisfacción, la calidad percibida de la educación a distancia durante la pandemia COVID-19 por los estudiantes del posgrado. Métodos. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo observacional. La población estuvo conformada por 403 estudiantes, las variables fueron calidad percibida y educación a distancia. Se aplicó el análisis de la estadística descriptiva y el análisis univariado. Resultados. El nivel de satisfacción de la calidad percibida de la educación a distancia de los 413 estudiantes fue de indiferencia en el 45,7%, en el 12,5% fue de insatisfacción y en el 41,8% fue de satisfacción. El nivel de satisfacción de la calidad percibida le correspondió mayoritariamente al entorno del aprendizaje virtual e información recibida y contenido del aula virtual, mientras que el mayor nivel de indiferencia le correspondió a la educación a distancia (78,0%), neuropedagogía (51,1%) y docente (45,8%). Conclusiones. La satisfacción respondió al entorno, a la información y materiales, mientras la insatisfacción a la adaptación de estrategias pedagógicas y materiales a la virtualidad.


Introduction. When the government decreed the mandatory quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, a new way of exercising the pedagogical work in a synchronous or asynchronous way was initiated. Objectives. To know through the levels of dissatisfaction the perceived quality of distance education during the COVID-19 pandemic by postgraduate students. Methods. A descriptive observational study was carried out. The population consisted of 403 students, the variables were perceived quality and distance education. Descriptive statistics analysis and univariate analysis were applied. Results. Level of satisfaction with the perceived quality of distance education of the 413 students was indifference in 45.7%, dissatisfaction in 12.5% and satisfaction in 41.8%. The level of satisfaction of perceived quality corresponded mostly to the virtual learning environment and information received and content of the virtual classroom, while the highest level of indifference corresponded to distance education (78%), neuropedagogy (51.1%) and teacher (45.8%). Conclusions. Satisfaction responded to the environment, information, and materials, while dissatisfaction to the adaptation of pedagogical strategies and materials to virtuality.

Este trabajo proporciona elementos para el desarrollo de un modelo conceptual del efecto que presentan la sensibilidad y la empatía sobre la percepción de calidad y la satisfacción, al momento de contratar a proveedores de servicios de internet en el sur del Estado de Quintana Roo, México. El objetivo del estudio es comprender cómo afecta la sensibilidad, la empatía y la calidad sobre la satisfacción de los clientes de los proveedores de servicios de Internet. Se utilizó la técnica de muestreo no probabilístico "bola de nieve" para integrar una muestra de 384 usuarios que proporcionaron información mediante la técnica de encuesta. Se desarrolló un modelo probado empíricamente utilizando el modelo de ecuaciones estructurales para analizar el impacto de las variables en la satisfacción. Los resultados muestran que la calidad del proveedor de internet se encuentra altamente influenciada por la empatía del personal y por la sensibilidad, todos estos factores inciden de manera directa y positiva en la satisfacción del cliente, siendo más importante el valor percibido de la empatía que puede afectar en la opinión del usuario, lo que es relevante porque ayuda a comprender por qué los clientes se quedan con un proveedor de servicios en particular. This research provides elements for the development of a conceptual model of the effect that sensitivity and empathy have on the perception of quality and satisfaction, when hiring internet service providers in the south of the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The objective of the study is to understand how sensitivity empathy and quality affect the satisfaction of customers of Internet service providers. The non-probabilistic "snowball" sampling technique was used to integrate a sample of 384 users who provided information through the survey technique. An empirically tested model was developed using the structural equation model to analyze the impact of variables on satisfaction. The results show that the quality of the Internet provider is highly influenced by the empathy of the staff and by the sensitivity all these factors directly and positively affect customer satisfaction, being more important the perceived value of empathy that can affect the opinion of the user which is relevant because it helps to understand why customers stay with a particular service provider. Este artigo fornece elementos para o desenvolvimento de um modelo conceitual do efeito da sensibilidade e da empatia na percepção da qualidade e da satisfação ao contratar provedores de serviços de Internet no sul do estado de Quintana Roo, México. O objetivo do estudo é entender como a sensibilidade, a empatia e a qualidade afetam a satisfação do cliente com os provedores de serviços de Internet. A técnica de amostragem não probabilística "bola de neve" foi usada para integrar uma amostra de 384 usuários que forneceram informações por meio da técnica de pesquisa. Um modelo testado empiricamente foi desenvolvido usando modelagem de equação estrutural para analisar o impacto das variáveis na satisfação. Os resultados mostram que a qualidade do provedor de Internet é altamente influenciada pela empatia e pela capacidade de resposta da equipe, todas com impacto direto e positivo na satisfação do cliente, sendo que o valor percebido da empatia é mais importante e pode afetar a opinião do usuário, o que é relevante porque ajuda a entender por que os clientes permanecem com um determinado provedor de serviços. ABSTRACT

Introducción: Durante la pandemia por COVID-19 las medidas de contención implementadas a nivel mundial han transformado la vida familiar y la forma de trabajar de las mujeres, profundizando desigualdades preexistentes tanto en el trabajo como en la familia. Método: Mediante ecuaciones estructurales se exploraron las relaciones entre el conflicto trabajo-familia, los síntomas emocionales negativos y la satisfacción familiar en mujeres de familias con doble ingreso. Se administraron cuestionarios a 430 mujeres que trabajaban de forma remunerada con al menos un hijo adolescente en Rancagua, Chile, quienes respondieron las dimensiones conflicto del trabajo a la familia y conflicto de la familia al trabajo de la Escala Interfaz Trabajo Familia; la Escala de Depresión, Ansiedad y Estrés (DASS-21); y la Escala de Satisfacción con la Vida Familiar. Resultados: El conflicto trabajo-familia, en ambas direcciones, se asoció positivamente con síntomas emocionales negativos, los cuales, a su vez, se relacionaron negativamente con la satisfacción familiar. El conflicto de la familia al trabajo se relacionó negativamente de forma directa con la satisfacción familiar, mientras que los síntomas emocionales negativos mostraron un rol mediador entre el conflicto trabajo-familia y la satisfacción familiar. Conclusiones: Nuestros hallazgos sugieren que, para mejorar la satisfacción familiar en situaciones de crisis, son necesarias intervenciones para mitigar las demandas laborales y familiares, así como reducir emociones negativas como depresión, ansiedad y estrés en mujeres madres que trabajan con remuneración.


Introduction: During the COVID-19 pandemic, containment measures implemented worldwide have transformed family life and women's way of working, deepening pre-existing inequalities both at work and in the family. Method: Structural Equations were used to explore the relationships between work-family conflict, negative emotional symptoms and family satisfaction in women from dual-income families. Questionnaires were administered to 430 women with paid work with at least one adolescent child in Rancagua, Chile, who responded to the work-to-family conflict and family-to-work conflict dimensions of the Work-Family Interface Scale; the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21); and the Satisfaction with Family Life Scale. Results: The work-family conflict, in both directions, was positively associated with negative emotional symptoms, which, in turn, were negatively related to family satisfaction. Family-to-work conflict was directly negatively related to family satisfaction, while negative emotional symptoms showed a mediating role between work-family conflict and family satisfaction. Conclusions: Our findings suggest that, to improve family satisfaction in crisis situations, interventions are needed to mitigate work and family demands, as well as to ameliorate negative emotions such as depression, anxiety and stress in women with paid work.

O início da carreira docente é compreendido como um período intenso e desafiador para o professor. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a satisfação no trabalho dos professores de Educação Física no início da carreira docente. O estudo descritivo de abordagem qualitativa contou com a participação de 16 professores efetivos que estavam entre o 1º e 4º ano de docência nas escolas municipais e estaduais da cidade de Maringá (Paraná). Para coleta de dados foi empregada uma entrevista semiestruturada e as informações foram analisadas conforme a técnica da análise de conteúdo. Evidenciou-se que todos os grupos de professores se encontram insatisfeitos com as dimensões: venda da força de trabalho, condições de trabalho, progressão na carreira e relevância social no trabalho. A Integração Social no ambiente de trabalho foi a única dimensão a se destacar como satisfatória para todos os grupos investigados. Os professores com três e quatro anos de docência demonstraram maior satisfação no trabalho quando comparados aos demais. Os professores com um e dois anos de docência demonstraram maior insatisfação no trabalho, os quais apresentaram postura mais crítica.


El inicio de la carrera docente se entiende como un periodo intenso y desafiante para el docente. En este sentido, la investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la satisfacción laboral de los profesores de Educación Física al inicio de su carrera docente. El estudio descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo contó con la participación de 16 profesores efectivos que se desempeñaban entre los niveles de 1º y 4º año de enseñanza en escuelas municipales y estaduales de la ciudad de Maringá (Paraná). Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada y la información fue analizada según la técnica de análisis de contenido. Se evidenció que todos los grupos de docentes están insatisfechos con las dimensiones: venta de mano de obra, condiciones de trabajo, progresión profesional y relevancia social en el trabajo. La Integración Social en el ambiente de trabajo fue la única dimensión que se destacó como satisfactoria para todos los grupos investigados. Los docentes con tres y cuatro años de docencia demostraron mayor satisfacción laboral en comparación con los demás. Los docentes con uno y dos años de experiencia docente mostraron mayor insatisfacción en el trabajo, con una actitud más crítica.


The beginning of the teaching career is understood as an intense and challenging period for the teacher. In this sense, the research aims to analyze the job satisfaction of physical education teachers at the beginning of their teaching careers. This descriptive study with a qualitative approach involved 16 effective teachers between the 1st and 4th year of teaching in municipal and state schools in the city of Maringá (Paraná). For data collection, a semi-structured interview was used, and the information was analyzed according to the content analysis technique. It was evident that all groups of teachers are dissatisfied with the dimensions: workforce remuneration, working conditions, career progression, and social relevance at work. Social Integration in the work environment was the only dimension to stand out as satisfactory for all investigated groups. Teachers with three and four years of teaching demonstrated greater job satisfaction when compared to the others. Teachers with one and two years of teaching experience showed greater dissatisfaction at work, with a more critical attitude.

Objetivo: examinar el efecto de la técnica de tos de mediana intensidad durante la inyección subcutánea de heparina de bajo peso molecular sobre la severidad del dolor y la satisfacción individual en pacientes de cirugía general. Método: estudio prospectivo, cuasi experimental, que incluyó a 100 pacientes a los que se les prescribió una inyección subcutánea de heparina de bajo peso molecular una vez cada 24 horas. Cada paciente recibió dos inyecciones por el mismo investigador utilizando técnica de inyección estándar con técnica de tos de intensidad media y solo técnica de inyección estándar. Resultados: hubo una diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre las puntuaciones medias de los pacientes sobre la intensidad del dolor y los niveles de satisfacción después de las inyecciones administradas por las dos técnicas (p= 0,000). Además, se encontró que el género afectó la severidad del dolor relacionado con la inyección, pero no afectó el nivel de satisfacción individual. Conclusión: se encontró que la técnica de tos de intensidad media reduce la severidad del dolor y aumenta la satisfacción del paciente de cirugía general que reciben inyecciones subcutáneas de heparina de bajo peso molecular. Objective: to examine the effect of the medium intensity coughing technique during subcutaneous low molecular weight heparin injection on pain severity and individual satisfaction in general surgery patients. Method: the prospective, quasi-experimental study included 100 patients who had been prescribed a subcutaneous low molecular weight heparin injection once in 24 hours. Each patient received two injections by the same researcher, one using the standard injection technique with medium intensity coughing technique and the other only the standard injection technique. Results: there was a statistically significant difference between patients' mean scores on pain severity and satisfaction levels after injections administered by the two techniques (p= 0.000). Also, it was found that gender affected pain severity relating to the injection but did not affect the level of individual satisfaction. Conclusion: the medium intensity coughing technique was found to reduce pain severity and increase patient satisfaction in general surgery patients receiving subcutaneous low molecular weight heparin injections. Objetivo: examinar o efeito da técnica de tosse de média intensidade durante injeção subcutânea de heparina de baixo peso molecular na intensidade da dor e satisfação individual em pacientes submetidos à cirurgia geral. Método: estudo prospetivo, quasi experimental que incluiu 100 pacientes que haviam recebido uma injeção subcutânea de heparina de baixo peso molecular em 24 horas. Cada paciente recebeu duas injeções pelo mesmo pesquisador usando a técnica de injeção padrão com técnica de tosse de média intensidade e apenas técnica de injeção padrão. Resultados: houve diferença estatisticamente significativa entre as pontuações médias dos pacientes quanto à gravidade da dor e níveis de satisfação após as injeções administradas pelas duas técnicas (p = 0,000). Além disso, verificou-se que o sexo do paciente afetou a intensidade da dor relacionada à injeção, mas não afetou o nível de satisfação individual. Conclusão: a técnica de tosse de média intensidade reduz a intensidade da dor e aumenta a satisfação de pacientes submetidos à cirurgia geral recebendo injeções subcutâneas de heparina de baixo peso molecular. Objetivo: evaluar la satisfacción laboral de profesionales de enfermería actuantes en atención y gestión durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Método: estudio epidemiológico de corte transversal. Participaron 334 profesionales de enfermería de un hospital de enseñanza. Fueron calculadas las frecuencias absolutas y relativas de las variables cualitativas y los promedios de las variables numéricas. Se compararon los promedios de resultados de los dominios de la escala de satisfacción profesional ( Job Satisfaction Survey) con variables sociodemográficaslaborales. Fueron aplicadas las pruebas t de Student, Mann-Whitney, Anova con posprueba de Tukey, Kruskal-Wallis o Dunn para verificar la significancia estadística de los resultados con nivel crítico de 0,05. Resultados: noventa profesionales se mostraron satisfechos con su trabajo, tres profesionales se mostraron insatisfechos y doscientos cuarenta y un profesionales mostraron ambivalencia. Conclusión: Se evidenció ambivalencia en los trabajadores de enfermería en relación a su satisfacción laboral durante el período de la pandemia de COVID-19. Los hallazgos señalan un camino para que los gestores y formuladores de políticas de salud encaucen inversiones en planes de carrera y ambientes laborales que mejoren las condiciones de los trabajadores de enfermería.


Objective: to assess the job satisfaction of nursing professionals who worked in care and management during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: cross-sectional epidemiological study, with the participation of 334 nursing professionals of a teaching hospital. Absolute and relative frequencies of qualitative variables and means of numerical variables were calculated. The mean scores of the domains of the Job Satisfaction Survey were compared with sociodemographic-labor variables. Student's t-test, Mann-Whitney test, and ANOVA test were applied and followed by Tukey, Kruskal-Wallis, or Dunn's post-test to verify the statistical significance of the results with a critical level of 0.05. Results: 90 professionals were satisfied with their work, three professionals were dissatisfied and 241 professionals were ambivalent. Conclusion: ambivalence was evidenced among nursing workers regarding their job satisfaction during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. The findings indicate a path for managers and health policymakers to invest in career plans and work environments that improve the working conditions of nursing workers.


Objetivo: avaliar a satisfação com o trabalho de profissionais de enfermagem que atuaram na assistência e na gestão, durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Método: estudo epidemiológico de corte transversal. Participaram 334 profissionais de enfermagem de um hospital de ensino. Foram calculadas as frequências absolutas e relativas das variáveis qualitativas e as médias das variáveis numéricas. Foram comparadas as médias dos resultados dos domínios da escala de satisfação profissional (Job Satisfaction Survey) com variáveis sociodemográficas-laborais. Foram aplicados os testes t de Student, Mann-Whitney, Anova seguidos de pós-teste de Tukey, Kruskal-Wallis ou Dunn, para verificar a significância estatística dos resultados com nível crítico de 0,05. Resultados: 90 profissionais demonstraram-se satisfeitos com o trabalho, três profissionais demonstraram-se insatisfeitos e 241 profissionais demonstraram-se ambivalentes. Conclusão: foi evidenciada uma ambivalência dos trabalhadores de enfermagem em relação à sua satisfação com o trabalho, durante o período da pandemia de COVID-19. Os achados indicam um caminho para que gerentes e formuladores de política em saúde façam investimentos em planos de carreira e ambiente de trabalho que melhorem as condições de trabalho dos trabalhadores de enfermagem.

ABSTRACT

El estudio tuvo por Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción en pacientes postoperados del servicio de cirugía del Hospital Santa María del Socorro, Ica 2021. Material y métodos: Estudio descriptivo, cuantitativo y transversal, no experimental-correlacional, con muestra de 147 pacientes postoperados, empleándose la técnica de encuesta y como instrumento 2 cuestionarios validados, y con alta confiabilidad. Resultados: La calidad del cuidado de enfermería fue de nivel regular 49%, nivel deficiente 28.6% y nivel bajo 22,4%; según sus dimensiones, se encontró mayor predominio de calidad de nivel regular en accesibilidad 73,5%, explica y facilita 69,4%, conforta 71,4%, se anticipa 59,9%, mantiene relación de confianza 61,2%, y monitorea-hace seguimiento 73,5%. La satisfacción fue de nivel medio 46,3%, nivel bajo 26,5% y nivel alto 27,2%; según sus dimensiones se encontró mayor proporción nivel medio en el trato recibido 52,4%, continuidad del cuidado 42,9%. y resultado del cuidado 41,5%. Se halló relación significativa entre la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción del paciente postoperado (r=0.434; p=0.000), y con las dimensiones trato recibido (r=0,257; p=0,002), continuidad del cuidado (r=0,493; p=0,000), y resultado del cuidado (r=0,353; p=0,001). Conclusiones: La calidad del cuidado de enfermería se relaciona significativamente con la satisfacción en los pacientes postoperados del servicio de cirugía del Hospital Santa María del Socorro de Ica, 2021.

Con la llegada de la pandemia del COVID-19, el gobierno peruano realizó modificaciones en el sistema de salud, dando paso al decreto legislativo N° 117-2020, para el servicio de telemedicina dentro del sector de la salud pública y privada, entendiéndose como la comunicación entre el paciente y el profesional médico a través de un dispositivo como computadora o teléfono. Objetivo. Identificar los niveles de satisfacción en la atención del servicio por telemedicina de los pacientes de una clínica privada de especialidades médicas en la ciudad de Puno durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Materiales y métodos. El diseño del estudio fue observacional, prospectivo; previo consentimiento informado, se aplicó el cuestionario The Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire Short Form [PSQ-18] de manera virtual a 56 pacientes mayores de 18 años seleccionados de manera no probabilística durante la pandemia mediante la telemedicina en una clínica de Puno durante el 2020 y 2021. Resultados. El 55,4% de los pacientes se mostraron parcialmente satisfechos y el 39,3% indicaron estar satisfechos; encontrándose asociación estadística significativa entre la satisfacción de la atención de salud mediante telemedicina con la edad del paciente (p<0,01*); las dimensiones del cuestionario mostraron medias ligeramente altas, destacando las dimensiones Accesibilidad y comodidad (12,93±3,13); Calidad técnica (12,34±3,56); Trato interpersonal (6,45±1,32); aspectos financieros (6,32±1,52) y satisfacción general (6,11±1,88). Conclusiones. Las dimensiones referidas a la calidad técnica, comodidad y accesibilidad fueron reportadas con mayores niveles de satisfacción, estos hallazgos contribuyen a la evidencia sobre la aceptación de la telemedicina como una alternativa viable para brindar atención de calidad.


With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Peruvian government made changes in the health system, giving way to Legislative Decree No. 117-2020, for the telemedicine service within the public and private health sector, understood as the communication between the patient and the medical professional through a device such as a computer or telephone. Objective. To identify the levels of satisfaction with the telemedicine service provided to patients in a private medical specialty clinic in the city of Puno during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and methods. The study design was observational, prospective; prior informed consent, The Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire Short Form [PSQ-18] was applied virtually to 56 patients over 18 years of age selected in a non-probabilistic manner during the pandemic through telemedicine in a clinic in Puno during 2020 and 2021. Results. 55.4% of the patients were partially satisfied and 39.3% were satisfied; a significant statistical association was found between satisfaction with health care through telemedicine and the patient's age (p<0.01*); the dimensions of the questionnaire showed slightly high averages, highlighting the dimensions Accessibility and comfort (12.93±3.13); Technical quality (12.34±3.56); Interpersonal treatment (6.45±1.32); financial aspects (6.32±1.52) and general satisfaction (6.11±1.88). Conclusions. The dimensions referring to technical quality, comfort and accessibility were reported with higher levels of satisfaction, these findings contribute to the evidence on the acceptance of telemedicine as a viable alternative to provide quality care.

Introducción: La COVID-19 provocó cambios laborales e influyó en el comportamiento de los docentes universitarios. Objetivo: Describir el bienestar y la salud ocupacional de profesores universitarios en la formación investigativa mediante el teletrabajo. Métodos: Se realizó un análisis sistemático mediante la metodología PRISMA que incluyó todo el año 2022 y los primeros meses del 2023. Con los artículos incluidos se aplicó la herramienta de búsqueda bibliográfica en línea Litmaps. Asimismo, se empleó un cuestionario y posteriormente la escala de Likert. El instrumento se validó con el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach y se consideró la prueba t de una muestra para probar como hipótesis descriptiva si el bienestar y la salud ocupacional desde la formación investigativa en docentes universitarios mediante el teletrabajo eran satisfactorios. Resultados: En el estudio, 41,2 % de los artículos de revisión e investigación seleccionados con la metodología PRISMA correspondieron al año 2022; sin embargo, el 50,0 % de los artículos semillas fueron del 2023, donde su análisis mapa indicó que no hubo citas de correspondencias. En cuanto al resultado de la valoración con la escala de Likert y luego con la prueba de hipótesis, se obtuvo insatisfacción en los profesores respecto a la formación investigativa mediante el teletrabajo. Conclusiones: Existió insatisfacción respecto al bienestar y la salud ocupacional para la formación investigativa desde el teletrabajo porque los docentes universitarios consideraban que las condiciones laborales no fueron favorables.


Introduction: COVID-19 caused job changes and influenced the behavior of university professors. Objective: To describe well-being and occupational health in research training of university professors through teleworking. Methods: A systematic analysis was carried out using the PRISMA methodology that included the entire year 2022 and the first months of 2023. The online bibliographic search tool Litmaps was applied to the included articles. Likewise, a questionnaire was used and subsequently the Likert scale. The instrument was validated with Cronbach's alpha coefficient and the one-sample T-test was considered as a descriptive hypothesis whether well-being and occupational health from research training in university professors through teleworking were satisfactory. Results: In the study, 41.2% of the review and research articles selected with the PRISMA methodology corresponded to the year 2022; however, 50.0% of the seed articles were from 2023, where their map analysis indicated that there were no citations of correspondences. Regarding the result of the assessment with the Likert scale and then with the hypothesis test, dissatisfaction was obtained among professors concerning research training through teleworking. Conclusions: There was dissatisfaction regarding well-being and occupational health for research training through teleworking because university professors considered that working conditions were not favorable.

Objetivo: analisar a associação entre satisfação no trabalho e o perfil sociodemográfico e laboral de enfermeiros de hospital universitário. Método: estudo transversal com 134 enfermeiros, de ambos os sexos e independente do tempo de atuação. Foram excluídos aqueles em licença de saúde e férias. Aplicado questionário sociodemográfico e laboral e a Escala de Satisfação no Trabalho. Realizado o Teste qui-quadrado entre as variáveis "satisfação" e "perfil pessoal e profissional" (IC 95%). Resultados: observou-se que 49,3% estavam satisfeitos no trabalho, 41,0% indiferentes e 9,7% insatisfeitos. Entre perfil e nível de satisfação, houve diferença significativa para "faixa etária", "desejo de mudança de emprego" e "horário de trabalho". Conclusão: a relação entre idade, horário de trabalho e mudança de emprego potencializavam a satisfação ou insatisfação no trabalho contribuem para adoção de medidas de manutenção da satisfação e reversão da indiferença, fato este preocupante no contexto da saúde do trabalhador de enfermagem.


Objective: to analyze the association between job satisfaction and the sociodemographic and work profile of nurses at a university hospital. Method: cross-sectional study with 134 nurses of both sexes and regardless of length of experience. Those on sick leave and vacation were excluded. Sociodemographic and labor questionnaire and the Job Satisfaction Scale were applied. The chi-square test was performed between the variables "satisfaction" and "personal and professional profile" (95% CI). Results: it was observed that 49.3% were satisfied at work, 41.0% were indifferent and 9.7% were dissatisfied. Between profile and level of satisfaction, there was a significant difference for "age group", "desire to change jobs" and "working hours". Conclusion: relationship between age, working hours and job change increased job satisfaction or dissatisfaction contributed to the adoption of measures to maintain satisfaction and reverse indifference, a worrying fact in the context of nursing workers' health.


Objetivo: analizar la asociación entre la satisfacción laboral y el perfil sociodemográfico y laboral de los enfermeros de un hospital universitario. Método: estudio transversal con 134 enfermeros de ambos sexos e independientemente del tiempo de experiencia. Se excluyeron los que estaban de baja por enfermedad y de vacaciones. Se aplicó un cuestionario sociodemográfico, laboral y la Escala de Satisfacción Laboral. Se realizó la prueba de chi cuadrado entre las variables "satisfacción" y "perfil personal y profesional" (IC 95%). Resultados: se observó que el 49,3% se mostró satisfecho en el trabajo, el 41,0% se mostró indiferente y el 9,7% se mostró insatisfecho. Entre perfil y nivel de satisfacción, hubo diferencia significativa para "grupo de edad", "deseo de cambiar de trabajo" y "horario de trabajo". Conclusión: la relación entre edad, jornada de trabajo y cambio de empleo potencializó la satisfacción o insatisfacción laboral contribuyó a la adopción de medidas para mantener la satisfacción y revertir la indiferencia, hecho preocupante en el contexto de la salud de los trabajadores de enfermería.

ABSTRACT

Si bien existen una serie de avances en la comprensión de los efectos del divorcio sobre el bienestar y desarrollo de los adolescentes, un aspecto que requiere mayor exploración es si existen variaciones en la satisfacción con la vida y la calidad de los vínculos de apego entre adolescentes que han experimentado o no el divorcio de sus padres. El presente estudio tuvo por objetivo evaluar diferencias en la satisfacción con la vida y en la calidad del apego a la madre y al padre entre adolescentes provenientes de familias intactas y quienes han experimentado el divorcio de sus padres. Mediante un estudio de corte transversal, se evaluó una muestra de 421 adolescentes chilenos entre 12 y 17 años, siendo un 54,6% hijos de padres casados y un 45,4% hijos de padres divorciados. Los análisis de diferencias de medias mediante pruebas t permitieron identificar que la satisfacción con la vida es mayor en los hijos de familias intactas. Asimismo, se detectaron diferencias en la calidad del apego hacia el padre, pero no hacia la madre. En específico, los hijos de padres divorciados reportaron menor calidad de la comunicación, menor confianza mutua y mayor alienación con sus padres que los hijos de familias intactas. Estos resultados, discutidos desde una perspectiva clínica, avanzan en la comprensión de los efectos del divorcio en adolescentes chilenos.


While there have been several advances in understanding the effects of divorce on the well-being and development of adolescents, one aspect that requires further exploration is whether there are variations in life satisfaction and the quality of attachment relationships among adolescents who have experienced their parents' divorce and those who have not. The present study aimed to assess differences in life satisfaction and the quality of attachment to both mothers and fathers among adolescents from intact families and those who have experienced their parents' divorce. Through a cross-sectional study, a sample of 421 Chilean adolescents aged 12 to 17 was evaluated, with 54.6% being children of married parents and 45.4% being children of divorced parents. Mean difference analyses using t-tests revealed that life satisfaction is higher among children from intact families. Additionally, differences in the quality of attachment to the father, but not to the mother, were detected. Specifically, children of divorced parents reported lower quality of communication, less mutual trust, and greater alienation from their parents than children from intact families. These results, discussed from a clinical perspective, contribute to the understanding of the effects of divorce on Chilean adolescents.
